Spin $0.50 Into $1 Million

We recently announced that PokerStars increased the top prizes to 10,000 times the buy-in in its lottery-style Spin & Go tournaments. However, this isn't the only news that the online poker room announced surrounding these games.

According to the PokerStars Blog titled Making Millionaires in Our Spin & Go Anniversary, PokerStars is celebrating its one-year anniversary of these games by offering players a chance to win a top prize of $1 million for just $0.50. The odds of playing for this top prize is small at just three in a hundred million; however, it isn't often players have a chance to win more than two million times the buy-in for any event.

Additionally, players can receive five free tickets to these games - valued at a total of $2.50 - by making a deposit into their accounts using the the special bonus code 'ANNIVERSARY'.

Second Chances Rewarded In New Boomerang Tournaments

In a blog titled Boomerang C Second Times a Charm, Full Tilt announced a unique new tournament running 10 times a day where players will receive a chance to win even when they bust out before the money.

How it works is that if players do not cash in a designated Boomerang tournament between Oct. 19-25, they will receive a ticket into a flip freeroll taking place the following day where they can win a share of $3,000 being awarded in these tournaments. Additionally, any player that qualifies for three or more Boomerang flip tournaments will also receive a ticket to a special $5K Boomerang Freeroll taking place on Oct. 25 at 13:00 ET.

There are some obvious differences between playing live and online poker. In a partypoker blog titled What Are the Differences Between Online and Live Poker?, Paul Seaton goes into detail about many of these differences.

While you will have to head to the blog to learn in detail about all the differences, the topics themselves include speed of play, location, number of opponents, and attack vs. defense.
