Season 3 of the Hollywood Poker Open (HPO) will come to a close this weekend with the wildly popular $2,500 Championship Event at M Resort Casino Spa in Las Vegas. Throughout the year, players from across the country have been qualifying for the tournament, while those in Vegas for the 2015 World Series of Poker will have the chance to either win their way in via satellites or direct buy.

The Championship Event, which boasts a $500,000 guarantee, will kick off on Friday, June 26 at 12:00 p.m. local time with the plan to play 11 one-hour levels. Players will begin with a 20,000-starting stack, and registration will remain open until the start of Day 2. For a look at the tournament structure, click here.

The event will also be live reported by the PokerNews Live Reporting Team, and feature 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event champ and HPO ambassador Chris Moneymaker.

The Hollywood Poker Open $2,500 Championship Event is certainly one of the cant-miss tournaments of the summer," said PokerNews Editor-in-Chief Donnie Peters.
