It's one week down and one week to go in the 2015 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) taking place on PokerStars, which will run through May 24.

The 2015 SCOOP schedule features 46 events, broken down into low, medium, and high buy-ins, creating a total of 138 different tournaments with a mind-numbing $40 million in combined guaranteed prize pools.

After 22 SCOOP events, it was Canada's Sorel "zangbezan24" Mizzi who scored the biggest win by taking down the SCOOP-03 H $2,100 NL Hold'em for $354,960. You can head to our first SCOOP recap to read more about Mizzi's win and the first eight events off the schedule.

While it is true Mizzi had the biggest haul in the SCOOP thus far, it is PokerStars Team Pro Jason "JasonMercier" Mercier and his American poker refugee counterpart, Calvin "cal42688" Anderson, that have created the biggest buzz.

This past weekend, Mercier won his third SCOOP event of the year after shipping the SCOOP-20-H: $2,100 NL Hold'em [4-Max] for $178,458. Last week, Mercier won the SCOOP-05-H: $2,100 FL Badugi and SCOOP-08-H: $2,100 NL Draw events in back-to-back days.

Meanwhile, Anderson took third place in the Badugi event for $68,408; however, that's not why the poker world is buzzing with excitement over his accomplishments. Entering this year's SCOOP, Anderson was tied for the most series titles with Shaun "shaundeeb" Deeb, with both players previously winning five events.

Anderson and Deeb were both ready to set the new record, as both players were on the final table of the SCOOP-13-H: $2,100 Stud event. Anderson eventually chopped the tournament with fellow American Dan "djk123" Kelly to not only win $36,600, but to also make history with his record breaking sixth SCOOP title.

In other news, it was Australia's James "Andy McLEOD" Obst winning $166,980, after beating 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada in a heads-up battle in the SCOOP-10-H: $1,050+R PL Omaha [6-Max]. Cada hauled in $116,506 for his runner-up performance in this tournament.

Finally, 2010 EPT Grand Finale champion Nicolas "niccc" Chouity is also making waves in this year's SCOOP poker festival. The Lebanese poker player not only won his second SCOOP title after taking first place in the SCOOP Event #22-H $700 NL (6-Max, Variable Level Times, Ultra-Deep) for $101,277, but also took seventh place in the SCOOP-09-H: $1,050 NL Hold'em [Super Tuesday SE] for $49,967 and third in the SCOOP-21-H: $700 PL 5-Card Omaha [6-Max,1R1A] for $39,820.

Here is a look at the final table results of the latest SCOOP high events.
