Full Tilt International Poker Open Tour

Full Tilt has announced it will sponsor the popular International Poker Open Tour, taking over from Irish outfit BoylePoker with immediate effect.

The initial schedule shows seven stops planned between May and November of this year, including visits to Cork, Newcastle, London, and Dublin, with the Full Tilt website stating additional events will be added to the schedule in the coming months.

Dominic Mansour, Managing Director of Full Tilt, is excited to see where the partnership will take the established IPO: "We're very happy to put the Full Tilt stamp on an already-successful tournament series. With affordable buy-ins and satellites, but big prize pools, we're giving players of all levels a great live poker tournament experience, whatever their bankroll. Last year's Dublin Main Event attracted over 1,600 entries for a 330,000 prize pool our goal is to top those numbers by boosting online qualification.

The IPO Tournament Director, Stephen McLean, is as eager as Mansour to see how far the IPO and Full Tilt partnership can go: "The International Poker Open Tour has gone from strength to strength. With Full Tilt behind us, we're confident that this year's tour will be bigger and better than ever.

Players don't have long to wait to see the new look Full Tilt IPO in action because IPO Bray takes place from May 22, 2015. Bray is a beautiful seaside town located south of Dublin, Ireland and the IPO taking place there features a $250 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event that sees players start with 25,000 in chips and play 30-minute blind levels on each of the two starting flights and 40-minute blind levels on Day 2.
