Six players used two bullets in the WPT Alpha 8 London multi-entry event, including Colman, Max Altergott, Jean-Noel Thorel, Daniel Cates, Fabian Quoss, and Philipp Gruissem.

Stephen Chidwick, Igor Kurganov, Fabian Quoss, Faisal Alfalasi, Gruissem, Erik Seidel, Cates, Jean-Noel Thorel, and Elior Sion all fell short of the eight-handed final table.

Sam Trickett, Christoph Vogelsang, and Vladimir Troyanovskiy were the first players to fall short of the money at the final table.

Sorel Mizzi, who came into the final table as the shortest stack, busted out of the tournament on the money bubble in fifth place after his Q?10? was unable to improve against Colman's K?Q?.

Isaac Haxton finished in fourth place when he called a three-bet for his tournament life with K?Q? against Talal Shakerchi's K?K?. His hand was unable to improve on a 7?5?5?3?8? board that sent him to the rail with another six-figure score.

Shakerchi, who came into the final table as the chip leader, was the next to exit the tournament when his A?6? wasn't good enough to beat Colman's Q?Q?.

Colman held a 1,613,000 to 687,000 chip lead over Altergott going into the heads-up play. After a couple of all-ins, Colman got the best of Altergott when his J?8? out-flopped the German's K?4? on a Q?8?5?.

Altergott was unable to catch up on the turn and river, giving Colman the win and the first Alpha8 trophy of the 2014 season.
