The UKIPT final table was quite diverse with players from six different countries, United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, France, Denmark, and Russia all competing to become the next UKIPT Grand Final champion.

When the action dwindled down to two players, Angell and Switzerland's Fabrizio Fuchs agreed to a heads-up chop to even out the big pay jump from second place to first place. Angell began the final table as the chip leader while Fuchs had to battle his way to get to where he was with one of the lower starting the day.

On the final hand of the tournament, the two players were all-in with Angell's AxKx dominating Fuchs' Ax9x. The board ran blank for both players, awarding Brett Angell the title and Fabrizio Fuchs a healthy 98,717 ($158,741) consolation prize.
