Real Gaming Accepting Deposits From Nevada 7-Eleven & Family Dollar Stores
Real Gaming, formerly known as SouthPointPoker.com, was the first company to receive an online poker license in Nevada, and back in February became the third online poker site to launch in the state. Now the company is offering players the chance to deposit from any 7-Eleven and Family Dollar store in the state through the PayNearMe cash transaction network.
In addition to offering deposits at 7-Eleven and Family Dollar, Real Gaming, which allows interactive play on desktop computers without the need to download an application or plug-in, allows deposits via ACH check, wire transfer, by mail, and at the South Point Casinos cashier.
To make a deposit on-site at any of the 200 7-Eleven stores statewide, customers must print or download to a mobile device a payment barcode from RealGaming.com. That barcode will then be scanned at either the 7-Eleven or Family Dollar store and the funds will be immediately credited to their Real Gaming account.
The addition of this deposit method, coupled with first-of-its-kind technology allowing for play on any device, anytime, anywhere in Nevada, enhances Real Gamings user friendly platform to all consumers, the company said in a press release. Real Gaming is the first and only online poker site in the country to allow for play on any mobile device, including mobile phones and tablets with iOS, Android, Mac, Windows and even Linux operating systems.
PokerNews reached out to PayNearMe for a statement regarding offering their services for online gaming. Tammy Lam, PR & MarComm Manager, offered the following:
"Many players are wary of authorizing gaming operators to withdraw funds directly from their bank accounts, and they avoid linking their gambling activity to credit cards because they prefer to not gamble on credit.
"For operators, credit card fraud and chargebacks also represent a big risk. As an alternative, cash is a good funding source because theres no fraud risk and no need to link directly to credit or bank accounts. In addition, many consumers prefer to play responsibly by allocating only a fixed amount of money to their gambling activity. Cash and PayNearMe allows them to do just that. This respects player choices and privacy.
"Operators in NJ and NV also make PayNearMe available as a back-up funding mechanism to players whose credit card issuing bank rejects their funding request due to legacy 7995 transaction coding issues. With PayNearMe, there are no rejections and accounts can be funded at Family Dollar and 7-Eleven stores."
