Day 2 of the massive European Poker Tour Barcelona 10,300 High Roller came to a close Tuesday night. Just 21 players remain in the event, which means play could take quite some time to crown a winner. No matter how long it takes, though, Day 3 will see someone walk away a champion and 747,200 richer.

Leading the survivors at the end of play was Ami Barer, winner of the 2014 Aussie Millions Main Event back in January. Barer just outdid Ismail Erkenov at the end of the night thanks to an added boost from busting Benny Spindler in the final hand. He'll take 1.953 million into Day 3, while Erkenov bagged up 1.92 million.

One of the major happenings on the day was the bursting of the bubble. Only 55 spots were set to be paid, and it happened after Dong Kim was eliminated in 56th position.

During Level 18 with the blinds at 5,000/10,000/1,000, Kim was all in against Barer with the J?J?. Barer had just one over card with the K?9?, but that was all he needed after the board ran out 3?2?2?K?5?.

From there, the in-the-money eliminations piled up. Of those who cashed, but didn't advance were Kent Lundmark (55th - 18,900), Dan Smith (40th - 18,900), Mickey Petersen (37th - 22,700), Ruben Visser (32nd - 22,700), George Danzer (28th - 26,600), Shaun Deeb (27th - 30,400), and Toby Lewis (24th - 30,400).

Plenty of other notables remain in the field, including one Team PokerStars Pro and one PokerStars Team Online member. Jason Mercier is that of the former, and he finished with 888,000. Marc-Andre Ladouceur is that of the latter, and while he may be predominantly an online player, he was able to bag up 909,000 in this major live event.

Then there's Stephen Chidwick (1.491 million), Dario Sammartino (1.031 million), Alexander Roumeliotis (790,000), Vladimir Troyanovskiy (554,000), Nicolas Chouity (545,000), Juha Helppi (472,000), Dylan Linde (400,000), and Angel Guillen (269,000). Needless to say, the final day won't be lacking any firepower.

Day 3 will commence at 12 p.m. local time, so be sure to stay tuned into PokerNews for all of the live coverage straight from the tournament floor starting then.

With that, here's a little preview of the upcoming Shark Cage television show:
