We have been putting the word out about the MSPT since we signed on with them and have been receiving good feedback on Majestic Star hosting this event, Majestic Star poker room manager Darrell Sangster previously told PokerNews. We have had many calls about the event. So there has been a general buzz about this MSPT event.

Bryan Mileski and the MSPT staff are great. They were always present and very accessible. They take their job very seriously and run a great tournament and were constantly hustling all over the place, Baime told PokerNews. I also really like the players in this tournament. One of the goals of the MSPT is to be accessible to recreational players and players with jobs. So, while the tournament had its share of pros and semi-pros, there were also a number of people with jobs. So, even though it was an $1,100 buy-in tournament, the general vibe was very relaxed and fun.

The Main Event will be held over three days beginning Friday evening with Day 1a at 4 p.m. Day 1a will play 14 levels. Saturday's Day 1b will also start at 4 p.m. and play 14 levels. Players who advance from Day 1a are not eligible to play in Day 1b. The remaining players from each flight will combine on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and play until a champion is crowned. The Main Event final table will be broadcast LIVE (15-minute delay) worldwide using RFID technology allowing all viewers to see the hole cards.
