On Monday, Everest Poker Pro Sam Trickett sat down with PokerNews and the Global Poker Index for a Google Hangout. Taking a break from events at the World Series of Poker, the British pro dished about his tough run of luck this summer, plus opinions on the World Cup, and much more.

Trickett has more than $20 million in career live tournament earnings, putting him at the top of Britain��s all-time money list. His run of success includes a first-place finish in the 2011 Aussie Millions Poker Championship for $1.5 million, followed by a $1.3 million score in the 2011 Partouche Poker Main Event. His largest score to date came at the 2012 Big One for One Drop, where he finished runner up to Antonio Esfandiari for just over $10 million.
