Off to a good start, Full Tilt Poker Professional Gus Hansen crushed the rooms 2-7 triple draw tables on Monday, when he closed as the days biggest winner with profits of $341,400.

Among the most remarkable moments of his day, a profitable session was played at a $2,000/$4,000 table against Nicklas "ragen70" Heinecker, Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond, Daniel "jungleman12" Cates, Alex "Alexonmoon" Luneau, and Hac "trex313" Dang, which gave Hansen winnings for $201,400 after one hour and 40 minutes of play.

Things changed rapidly on Tuesday though, as Hansen closed his session on the top of the days biggest losers, with losses for $383,853 after eight sessions and 943 hands. This brings his monthly balance to a negative balance of $209,209 after 30 sessions and 3218 hands played.

On the flip side of the coin, Cates managed to get back on track and compensate his $265,570 loss on Monday with a much better Tuesday and closed as the days biggest winner with a profit of $438,012 after seven sessions and 722 hands.

Thanks to yesterdays session, Cates brought numbers to the safe side, with his monthly balance looking at a healthy $151,441. That puts him in eighth place of the leader board for Mays biggest winners.

As for the biggest winners overall, the week started in a great way for Germany, which is now taking two out of the top three places of the rankings thanks to Sebastian "taktloss47" Ruthenberg and "kagome kagome".

Ruthenberg is the weeks biggest winner so far with profits for $284,516 after 723 hands played in seven sessions, while "kagome kagome" sits right behind him with profits of $254,603 accumulated after 10 sessions and 645 hands. To fight against the German high-stakes domination, "Sally Woo" played his way to the third place of the podium, collecting winnings for $221,520 after 206 hands split in only two sessions.
