The Tournament Director, a software program used in poker rooms all over the world, has released a new update which will allow tournament results to be transmitted directly to The Hendon Mob (THM) poker database upon completion.

The Tournament Director is used by tournament directors and poker room managers from dozens of countries worldwide. The software package allows tournament directors to manage the tournament clock, blind structure, prize pool payout, and more.

The new partnership will allow more players to be added to The Hendon Mob and Global Poker Index, and it is another step towards the eventual release of the Global Poker ID (GPID). In turn, events that use The Tournament Director and post the results on The Hendon Mob will receive exposure to more than 4 million visitors of the websites.

"We hope that tournament directors find the newest feature to Version 3.3 of The Tournament Director to be very useful," said The Hendon Mob and Global Poker Index CEO Alexandre Dreyfus. "Were happy to be partnering with The Tournament Director and are elated that the ability to automatically send tournament results directly to THM will allow tournament directors to save some valuable time."

The Hendon Mob is the world's largest live poker tournament database, providing poker tournament information on over 300,000 players and 120,000 events. The Global Poker Index purchased the Hendon Mob last July under the guidance of parent company Zokay Entertainment.
