According to the report from PokerStars LIVE Macau, Tan found herself heads up with Canadian Xiao Peng. The two saw a flop of 7?6?5? before getting all of the money into the middle. Peng was the shorter stack of the two holding the 8?5? for bottom pair and an open-ended straight draw. Tan had the 8?4? for a flopped straight. The turn was the J? and the river was the K?, allowing Tan to finish with a diamond flush and eliminating Peng in second place.

Tan, who is currently pregnant and awaiting the birth of her first girl, told PokerStars that it was her goal to win a trophy before the child was born so that she could "give it to her as a first birthday present."

This win marks the first live title of Tan's career.
