Full Tilt Poker Claims Administration Update: Email Notification Process Complete 0001

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, the Garden City Group (GCG) the group named as the Claims Administrator by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York to oversee the repayment of Full Tilt Poker players issued an update on their dedicated website, FullTiltPokerClaims.com.

The update read as follows:

We are pleased to report that the Remission Process is now well underway. All told, GCG has sent over 1.4 million email notifications to Full Tilt Poker (FTP) players, and in response GCG has already received over 23,500 Petitions through the online filing system.

The email notification process is now complete. If you did not receive an email and you believe you are in Full Tilt's database and should have been identified as a potentially eligible player, please contact us to provide your updated email address and we will provide you with your petition and control numbers if you have been assigned them. To the extent GCG has been provided with physical mailing addresses, we will be sending postcards to Petitioners whose emails were returned as undeliverable in the next few weeks.

The 23,500 Petitions submitted online represent only 1.68% of the email notifications sent out by the GCG. It has been approximately two weeks since the GCG began the Remissions Process on Sept. 18, and the Nov. 16 deadline to submit a Petition for Remission is now six weeks away.

With all the emails that were sent out by the GCG, not everyone may have received one. It is important that all players believed to be eligible contact the GCG in order to receive petition and control numbers.
