From Oct. 2-9, 2013, the Players Poker Championship Aruba World Championship will take place at the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa. Eight events are on tap for the series, including the feature $200,000 guarantee Main Event.

The Main Event has over 60 satellited who will lock horns with pros Joe Serock and Ronnie Bardah. David Tuthill and Stephen Bokor have recently been added to the list of pros who will be in attendance.

PokerNews will be on hand for live reporting of the Main Event, which will feature a $2,500 buy-in and re-entries. As a special promotion for the event, the PPC Aruba will award 50% rakeback on all Main Event re-entries.

In a recent article here on PokerNews, we outlined plenty of non-poker activities that players can partake in while down in Aruba. As PPC Commissioner Sandy Swartzbaugh has said, "We've always stated, this isn't just a poker tournament, it's a "Poker-Cation."

In 2013, the PPC added nine stops with plans to 15-20 stops in 2014. The tour plans to add stops on the West Coast and in the Northeast next year, along with strengthening its presence in Florida and Maryland. Currently at Maryland Live!, the PPC is on track to send another 20 players down to Aruba.

With the event just over one week away, there's no better time than now to book your trip to Aruba for the PPC Aruba World Championship. For booking options, please click here. Remember, PokerNews will be on hand for the event, and we hope to see you there!
