The next installment of the partypoker Premier League has been announced, and the event will take place at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal from Nov. 20-26, 2013. With a hefty buy-in of $125,000, the event will feature 12 marquee poker players, including the one and only Tony G.

Tony G became the first player confirmed for the event, and he is the only player to have played in every season of the Premier League. In true Tony G fashion, he wasn't short on confident words. People say I am not qualified to play this event," said Tony G. "Actually, I am the most qualified!"

The structure is said to have been improved this time around, and partypoker cited player feedback as the catalyst for this change. The event will feature six eight-handed heats of poker, and each of the 12 players involved will compete in four league matches. As is standard for the Premier League, each point earned will be worth $2,000. From there, the top four finishers will receive an automatic bid to participate at the final table, and fifth place through eighth place on the leader board will face off in a series of heads-up matches to determine the remaining two seats.

A cool $350,000 in first-place prize money will be up for grabs. In the last edition of this event, Dan Shak earned the title and the $450,000 first-place prize. The lovely Kara Scott will anchor the coverage, and the always colorful Jesse May will lead commentary.

Just days following the Premier League, the partypoker.net World Poker Tour Montreal event will follow. The C$3,850 Main Event will take place Nov. 29 through Dec. 5, and another massive turnout of players is expected. Last season, Jonathan Roy defeated a record-breaking field of 1,173 entries to earn the $755,601 top prize.
