The rest of the top 10 remain unchanged, but with the World Series of Poker looming, we expect to see some shakeup in the coming weeks.

Making a huge leap this week in the POY race was Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier. Mercier crushed in Monaco, winning a 2,000 Open-Face Chinese Poker side event, finishing seventh in the EPT Grand Final Main Event, and finishing runner-up in the EPT Grand Final 100,000 Super High Roller. All-in-all, the American earned over $1.7 million, while also jumping up 54 spots in the POY race. He now sits at No. 15, and surely has his eyes locked on the top 10.

Also making a jump this week was Russian Vladimir Troyanovskiy. Troyanovskiy, who reached the final table of both the $25,000 High Roller and the $100,000 Super High Roller at the 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, finished fifth in the EPT Grand Final 100,000 Super High Roller, and now sits at No. 19.

A player to look out for in next week's GPI POY rankings is American Team Ivey member David Peters. Peters jumped up 25 spots to No. 59 this week, and is still alive with eight players remaining in the World Poker Tour $25,000 World Championship at the Bellagio.
