PokerNews Jet Set: PokerStars European Poker Tour Season Nine Part Two

3 min read

Last month, PokerStars announced the lineup for its ninth season of the European Poker Tour. We just closed out the eighth season, so we thought it would be a perfect time to take a visual look at the eight stops on the Season Nine schedule. Last week we began with the first half of the tour, covering Barcelona, San Remo, Prague and PCA. This week, we continue with the remaining four stops to play out next year.

Deauville | January 30 - February 9, 2013 | Main Event Buy-in: 5,300

It has become a custom now for the EPT to kick off the year in the sunny Bahamas and then continue on to another seaside resort just an extremely cold and snowy one France's quaint little town of Deauville. It's not just world-class poker tournaments that this city is famous for hosting, as Sarah Grant discovers during her tour around town.

London | March 6-16, 2013 | Main Event Buy-in: 5,250

The London stop on the European Poker Tour is usually held late in the year as we approach England's chilly winter. Instead, for Season 9, we will return to London once again, but this time early in the new year as we work our way into the "warmer" months, although I use the term "warmer" loosely! London is one of those places that all travelers must tick off their bucket lists if they haven't already. You simply haven't traveled without going to London at least once. If you catch a day with sunshine like Sarah Grant was lucky enough to, it really is a stunning city with endless amounts of history to explore and a range of cultures to suit anyone.

Berlin | April 24 - May 4, 2013 | Main Event Buy-in: 5,300

This just wouldn't be a world-class tour without rounding off with the ultimate back-to-back session. Just last month, we saw more than two weeks of bad beats, bust outs and newly crowned millionaires as we descended on Germany's capital before continuing immediately on to the Grand Final in Monaco. And that venue is set to happen again at the same time next year.

Berlin is a city that will blow your mind with its dynamic mix of turbulent stories, incredibly friendly people and crazy nightlife. It is a stunning city with so much to see. Check out this brief user guide to getting around.

Monaco | May 6-12, 2013 | Main Event Buy-in: 10,600

Winning an EPT title makes you rich. Simple as that. So why not finish off the tour in one of the richest, most indulgent countries known to man? This is where all the ballers come to play, and that they certainly did last month with all of your favorite poker players coming together for some serious poker. Take a look at the following EPT Grand Final recap for a taste of what you could be a part of next year.
