Day 7 of the 2011 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker was relatively quiet because only two tournaments were on Saturday's slate. One of the events, however, attracted more than 11,000 entrants and lasted an astounding 18 hours. Dutchman "erickie" followed the performance of "Brryann" in becoming the second player from the Netherlands to win a bracelet in consecutive days. Meanwhile, Norway's "RiskStar" became the series' first limit hold'em champion.

Event #19 offered the smallest buy-in of the 2011 WCOOP, but the 11,741 runners smashed the $800,000 guarantee by generating a prize pool of more than $1.17 million.

Fatima Moreira De Melo of the Netherlands was the lone member of Team PokerStars to make a deep run in the event. With only 49 players remaining, De Melo made a bold move with 8?9? on a board of J?7?5?; Hungary's "fan-fan04" bet 360,000 into a pot of about 700,000 and De Melo check-raised all-in. It wasn't enough to get her opponent to fold because "fan-fan04" called with A?Q? for ace-high, and the turn and river failed to improve De Melo's hand. She earned $1,820 for her efforts.

Team PokerStars members Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Pierre "Zoutechamp" Neuville also cashed in the event. It marked Grospellier's fourth cash of the 2011 WCOOP.

After more than 15 hours of play, the final table of nine was finally formed. "Fan-fan04" entered with more than 19 million second in chips and "daskalos20", of Cyprus, had the chip lead with more than 21 million.

It took a while to lose the first player because there were four double-ups early on at the final table. Finally, a short-stacked "BANTEX" moved all-in for 5.6 million (14 big blinds) with 9?9? from early position and "fan-fan04" called with J?J? in the big blind. The board ran out A?8?Q?Q?10? and "BANTEX" exited with $7,397.

Moments later, Russia's "Merk2517" was the victim of a horrific river card. "Merk2517" four-bet all-in preflop with K?K? and was called by fellow countryman "E.Viltseva" with 8?8?, but a board of 10?7?A?6?9? gave "E.Viltseva" a winning straight to send "Merk2517" out of the tournament in eighth.

"E.Viltseva" went back to work when his Q?Q? bested "spel91's" 3?3? to trim the field to six, but the Russian's road to a bracelet fell short. After two more eliminations left four players remaining, "E.Viltseva" moved all-in for just under 10 big blinds from the button with J?7? and the U.K.'s "dreeniee82" called in the big blind with K?6?. The Brit hit the K?Q?8? flop and held on to take the chip lead from "erickie."

That changed quickly because "erickie" went on to win the biggest pot of the tournament in dramatic fashion. With the blinds at 500,000/1,000,000, "fan-fan04" min-raised to 2 million from the button and "erickie" moved all-in for nearly 30 million from the big blind with Q?J?. "Fan-fan04" called instantly with A?A?, but the Q?J?2?10?4? board gave "erickie" a flopped two pair to leave a stunned "fan-fan04" short stacked. The two tangled a few hands later and "erickie" finished off the Hungarian with A?K? to Q?J?. "Fan-fan04" earned $82,187 for his deep finish.

"Erickie" began heads up play with 62.1 million to the 55.3 million of "dreeniee82." The Brit took a brief lead early in the match, but "erickie" battled back by doubling up with a flopped set of sevens against A?Q? after all the chips went in preflop. Then, on the final hand of the match, the two players saw a flop of 8?4?3?."Erickie" led out with a bet of 4.8 million and then called the all-in bet of "dreeniee82" for nearly 32 million. "Dreeniee82" had 6?4? for a pair of fours, but "erickie" was in commanding position with 4?3? for two pair. The A? turn and 5? river changed nothing and the Dutchman earned his first bracelet and a payday of $163,324.

Kwiq was the first to exit, committing his short stack on a 7?6?4?2? board holding A?10?. With A?6?, lennie1987 held the lead and scored the knockout when the 6? river fell. Dylan Linde won the first hand at the final table, but was unable to get anything going after, exiting in eighth place as part of a double elimination. Most of the chips were committed preflop, but the cards were revealed after the turn of a J?10?6?J? board. PokerArtChee's A?J? led PycV's A?Q? and Linde's K?Q?. The 5? river meant only six players were left in the hunt.

NeoNH5 was the next to fall, getting it in on a J?10?4? board with A?J?. His top pair, top kicker trailed lennie1987's K?K? and did through the Q? turn and 4? river, as well. The chip leader at the start of the final table, Stjerneskud, was relatively quiet to that point until eliminating PokerArtChee in fifth place. Short stacked, PokerArtChee made a stand with J?8? against Stjerneskud's Q?Q?. PokerArtChee almost got there as after the turn, the board read K?10?4?9?, but the 5? river missed PokerArtChee completely.

The remaining players spent the next 35 minutes exchanging chips back and forth before Stjerneskud busted in fourth place. With A?5?, Stjerneskud was unable to defeat RiskStar's 7?7? when the board ran out Q?8?8?8?7?. Shortly thereafter, gbeyond's last chips went into the pot with Q?J?, but was unable to defeat RiskStar's A?4?. The board came down J?8?3?4?10? to give both players a flush, but RiskStar's ace-flush took it down.

The chip counts at the start of heads up play were:

RiskStar: 3,491,138
lennie1987: 1,403,862

The 44-hand heads-up match was dominated by RiskStar. On the final hand, lennie1987's remaining few chips went into the middle on a K?7?5? flop with Q?10?. RiskStar held A?6? and faded a ton of outs as the 4? turn and A? river officially ended the tournament. RiskStar pocketed $35,244 and won the WCOOP bracelet.
