Casting Call: PokerNews Hostess Hunt
Do you check out the videos on our video page and think, "Gloria, Lynn, and Kristy are awesome! I wish I could travel the world, interviewing poker players, and making fun videos?" Well, there's no time like the present to bust out those hosting skills and put them to the test. PokerNews is expanding our on-air family and we're in the hunt for two new hostesses. So if you think you've got what it takes, keep reading.
Requirements
- European Poker Tour Presenter/Producer: You must live in the European Union, speak English, and be at least 21 at the time you submit your video audition.
- Asia Pacific Poker Tour Presenter/Producer: You must live in Australasia, speak English, and be at least 21 at the time you submit your video audition.
So what does it take to be part of the PokerNews family? You've got to be outgoing, hard working, creative, charismatic, and approachable. Not only will you be on camera, but you'll also be working as a producer as well. Production experience is not required, but you will be required to learn about producing web-based video content.
It's not always the glitz and glam you see in the finished product. So you must be prepared to put in long hours and work hard at each tournament stop. Don't worry if you don't have a lot of poker knowledge, it's helpful, but a passion for poker and learning more about the game is what we're looking for.
