Phil Ivey Eliminated in 7th Place ($34,595)

Phil Ivey - 7th place
Phil Ivey - 7th place
Ivey: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}
Brunson: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} / {x-}
Monnette {x-}{x-} / {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} (FOLDED)

Adam Friedman was the bring in showing the {2-Diamonds} and Phil Ivey completed. John Monnette and Todd Brunson also completed and Friedman folded. Ivey and Monnette checked fourth and Brunson bet out. Ivey called and Monnette got out of the way.

Ivey check-raised all in and Brunson called, showing {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades} while Ivey was ahead with a pair of sevens. Brunson caught a {4-Clubs} on seventh street to give him the wheel, which shipped the entire pot his way and sent Ivey packing, his hopes of a ninth bracelet dashed.
