The Age Old Story: Can You Fold Kings Preflop?
Jonathan Weekes opened preflop to 6,000 before Ali Tekintamgac 3-bet the small blind to 17,200. Then the big blind Luca Pagano raised to 48,000 only to see Weekes push all-in, easily covering both other players.
Tekintamgac folded fairly quickly but Pagano took as much time as he could get, counting back out his remaining 182,000 stack.
The Italian stated, "Very likely I'm gonna fold but I wanna be sure...Is it easy to fold two kings here?"
Finally, after several minutes Pagano folded asking Weekes to show him aces, the latter gestured for Pagano to fold his hand face up and that he (Weekes) would reciprocate.
Pagano did so, showing the and and Weekes quickly turned over the . Pagano grimaced but remained cool and tapped the table, "Nice hand."
Weekes picks up another 70,000 in chips while getting someone to wrongly fold the second best starting hand in poker.
